As much as I love to work on my own creations, I also love helping others to bring their creative visions to light – whether through writing, music, or video. With over 10 years of professional experience in the writing/publishing world and over 3 decades of experience as a musician, I’m offering a few services to help writers, publishers, musicians, and other creative people to reach their goals. EDITING/PROOFREADING
Nothing turns readers away faster than a poorly-edited book or blog post. Which is why it’s so important to have your work professionally edited and/or proofread before putting it out into the world. With so many options for readers to choose from these days, your writing really needs to look polished for it to be successful. And that’s why I’m offering my copyediting and proofreading services at very competitive rates.
Copyediting
$0.02/word fiction, $0.03/word non-fiction
The goal of copy editing is to correct mechanical errors and make sure everything’s consistent. I’ll be looking for and correcting typographical mistakes, grammatical errors, factual inaccuracies, and other errors as well as making sure the style stays consistent throughout the manuscript.
Proofreading
$0.01/word fiction, $0.015/word non-fiction
Proofreading is usually the final step before a manuscript is ready for publication. I’ll be looking for and correcting spelling, punctuation, grammar, formatting, and other mistakes to make sure your manuscript is professionally polished and ready for publication.

I wish this didn’t have to be stated, but I should note that I do NOT use AI to write, edit, or proofread. I take immense pride in my work and you can rest assured that my eyeballs will be carefully combing over every paragraph, every line, and every word. A LOT of writers, editors, and proofreaders now use AI to do their work – and it shows. There are tons of articles, books, and blog posts out there full of errors because AI was used to write and/or edit them. Readers hate this and are quick to leave a negative review of anything made with AI. Which is why it’s so important to make sure your final product is polished and professional – and that’s exactly what I promise to deliver.
MUSIC LESSONS
As a classically trained musician and multi-instrumentalist of over 35 years, I offer both virtual (worldwide) and in-person music lessons (in Southeastern Massachusetts). I’ve been giving music lessons for over 20 years and have helped hundreds of students of all ages to reach their goals. I only have so many time slots available, so space is limited. I offer the following:
Guitar (beginner, intermediate) – $30/half hour lesson, $50/hour lesson- Guitar (advanced) – message me
- Bass (beginner, intermediate) – $30/half hour, $50/hour lesson
- Piano/Keyboard (beginner, intermediate) – $30/half hour, $50/hour lesson
- Drums/Percussion (beginner, intermediate) – $30/half hour, $50/hour lesson
In addition to being a lifelong musician, I also worked in the mental-health field for 15 years after earning a degree in psychology, working exclusively with young adults (ages 13-22) with special needs (everything from autism-spectrum disorders to mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and more). I’m happy to offer music lessons to both children and adults with special needs. Everyone learns at their own pace and I’ll tailor your lessons to fit your needs and goals. I’m calm, kind, compassionate, and friendly – very easy to get along with. $50/minute of video (so $250 for a 5-minute video)
I’ll write you an engaging script that your viewers will love. I have plenty of experience writing both comedy and educational content.
Writing/Ghostwriting
$0.10-0.50/word depending on the project.
